### What is ShowerGuard™ glass?

ShowerGuard™ is a shower glass with a permanent protective coating that helps resist corrosion, stains, and buildup over time —keeping your shower looking clean. 

Manufactured in the United States by Guardian Glass, ShowerGuard starts as high-quality glass, and a special, permanent protective coating is applied to one side during production. The glass is then sent to Guardian Certified Fabricators, who cut, temper, and finish it to the exact size needed for your shower.

### Where can I find ShowerGuard glass?

You can find ShowerGuard glass at a registered dealer near you! Simply visit the [Find a Dealer](https://showerguardglass.com/find-a-dealer?hsLang=en) page and fill out the 'Get a dealer to contact you' form and we’ll help you find one!

### How do I register my ShowerGuard glass warranty?

You can register your warranty online on the [Warranty registration page](https://showerguardglass.com/warranty?hsLang=en). From there, you can fill out the form online or print a copy to mail in. After submitting the form, you will receive an email confirmation.

### How do I know if I registered my ShowerGuard glass warranty within 90 days?

If you’re unsure whether you registered your glass within the 90-day period, you can check by emailing [showerguard@guardian.com](mailto:showerguard@guardian.com) for assistance.

### My dealer/installer does not show up on warranty registration — Is that ok?

Yes! Only Registered Dealers will automatically appear in the online warranty registration form, but you can still manually enter any dealer’s name. Your dealer does not need to be registered for you to receive ShowerGuard glass or the Lifetime Limited Warranty.

### How do I know I have ShowerGuard glass?

ShowerGuard glass has a permanent protective coating that can be detected using a special device available at Registered ShowerGuard Dealers. We will help you find a dealer near you on our [Find a Dealer](https://showerguardglass.com/find-a-dealer?hsLang=en) page. 

If you purchased your shower glass from a non-registered dealer, check your invoice to ensure it specifies ShowerGuard glass. Additionally, look for ShowerGuard fabrication stickers on the glass — these stickers are placed by Certified ShowerGuard Fabricators and indicate the coated side.

### What is covered by the ShowerGuard glass warranty?

The ShowerGuard Lifetime Limited Warranty protects against permanent stains, spots, or residue that cannot be cleaned off for the lifetime of the glass. Guardian guarantees the durability of the protective coating for the end user*.*

### What is low iron Guardian UltraClear™ glass and what are its advantages?

Guardian UltraClear™ low-iron glass is made with sand that has a low iron content — the element responsible for the green tint in standard glass. As a result, this glass has a clearer, more neutral look than standard glass, helping to enhance the beauty of your bathroom and making your tile colors stand out.

### I have glass that says "Guardian" on it. Where can I get parts to fix it?

While Guardian Glass manufactures the glass, we do not fabricate or install the finished shower enclosure, nor do we supply non-glass parts.   
For replacement parts or warranty support, please contact the dealer or installer who provided your shower enclosure, as they handle the finished product and its components.

### Is glass breakage covered under the Lifetime Limited Warranty?

No, glass breakage is not covered under the terms of the ShowerGuard Lifetime Limited Warranty.

### Does ShowerGuard contain VOCs or produce any off-gassing?

No. Glass is by nature an inert material that does not release VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), and there are no VOCs present in the finished ShowerGuard glass. VOCs are chemicals that can be released or “off-gassed” into the air and impact indoor air quality.
